COMMISSIONER’S REPORT: The E.L.S.I.E.’s (Winner’s Announced)

As the 2015 fantasy season closes, the E.L.S.I.E.’s are in. These awards are perk based only, meaning you will not win a trophy or a monetary prize for winning one of these. These awards will help you manage your franchise for the upcoming 2016 season.

Please note that no franchise can be awarded more than two perks for a single season. This is to make sure that no one franchise has THAT much of an advantage over any other franchise in The League! Any teams winning more than three awards will have their choice of up to two award perks. The forfeited award perk will go to that awards runner up!

Dread Pirate Oso & Hyde Yo Wife led all franchises with three award nominations, followed by I Got Sacks On Sacks On Sacks & the Surprise Scorpians with two.

With the best efficiency and fewest bench points for the season, Fear The CAT bring homes the Coach of the Year Award, also known as the Lombardi Award.

Award Perks: Can substitute a bench player for a starter AFTER match-up is over twice during the regular season ONLY.

For the Most Points Scored During the 2015 Season

With the Most Points Scored for the regular season, I Got Sacks takes home their 2nd award of the 2015 E.L.S.I.E.’s.

Award Perks: 10-pt Home Field Advantage for the first four games of the regular season ONLY.

For the Franchise Who Drafted the Best Steal of the 2015 Season

Selecting Cam Newton, the 2015 Fantasy MVP in the 2nd Round (17th Overall), was the best steal of the season according to the MyFantasyLeague.com algorithm. Hakeem I Saw I Conquered pulled the trigger when 16 other franchises didn’t, congrats!

Award Perks: Franchise can move up or down up to three spots in the upcoming fantasy draft.

For the Franchise Who Signed the Best Free Agent Pick Up of the 2015 Season

When the 2015 Fantasy MVP was dropped during the first few weeks in the Legends Conference, Hyde Yo Wife was quick to pick Cam Newton up and rode his MVP season all the way to the E.L.S.I.E. Bowl and the league championship!

Award Perks: Franchise can use their team’s contracts how they see fit.

For the Most Active & Out Spoken Franchise Owner for the 2015 Season

One of the more instrumental Owner/Coaches of the 2015 season, the Loud Mouth Award goes to Robert Elliott and his Surprise Scorpians.

Award Perks: Immunity. No Award Abilities Can Be Used on His/Her Franchise. The Lombardi Award, Air Coryell Award, Phoenix Award and the Gryphon Award have no affect when applied against this franchise. The Draftologist Award cannot move in front or behind this franchise.

NOTE: The Phoenix Award and the Gryphon Award are in place for the 2016 fantasy season.
