The Detroit Lions have asked to either a private workout or a team visit with University of Georgia QB Aaron Murray.

Footballguys View: There’s a lot to like about Murray. He’s an accurate quarterback who is known as a tough leader. Murray is short, but lacks the athleticism of Russell Wilson or Drew Brees. His arm isn’t incredibly strong, and he’ll struggle to throw deep when he can’t set his feet. Murray could compete with Kellen Moore for the third-string job in Detroit.
