Michigan State CB Darqueze Dennard said he had a private workout with the Detroit Lions last month and that the workout went well. Defensive coordinator Teyrl Austin was part of the workout.

Footballguys View: Dennard’s draft stock may be falling just a bit, but the Michigan State prospect could be an option for the Lions in the first round at 10th overall. He’s an instinctive player who puts up a fight at the point of the catch. Dennard is not one of the faster corners in this draft, and that may be hurting his draft stock.
