Carolina Panthers TE Ed Dickson will make the veteran minimum of $730,000 as part of his one-year deal with the team. He’ll receive a signing bonus of $65,000. Dickson will likely be the No. 2 tight end behind TE Greg Olsen this year. Dickson had only 25 catches for 273 yards last year with the Baltimore Ravens.
Footballguys View: Dickson has a year to prove his worth to the Panthers and the league at large. Dickson is athletic and can split the seams but his hands can be inconsistent. With very few weapons besides himself and Olsen, he should get his chance to prove he can be more consistent.
