The New England Patriots held a private workout last week for Colorado State OG Weston Richburg. He’s projected to be taken early in the second round of this year’s draft.

Footballguys View: Richburg is arguably the best center prospect in this draft class, and many in the scouting community compare him to former Colts great Jeff Saturday. He can move well in space, and Richburg can be a sticky blocker at the second level. Many scouts feel he can be a 10-year starter at the position. Richburg controlled all the line calls in college, and he’s comfortable working with a quarterback who calls many audibles.
