Ray Rice, Roger Goodell & Adrian Peterson

Last weekend was an ole fashion beat down! With the inter-division matchups drawing close to an end, the South Division teams hammered the North Division teams in all but one game. All six North Division teams lost in blow out fashion and only one of those teams have secured a winning season thus far (I Got Sacks On Sacks On Sacks [7-3]). And with the possible reinstatement’s of both Ray Rice & Adrian Peterson, this NFL season could not get more interesting. So Let’s Get To It!!!

***Week 9 Recaps***

Weapons of Mass Production Picks Up Victory over Clam Diggers for 5th Straight Win

Weapons of Mass Production took down the Clam Diggers 168.70 to 119.08 and put up the second-highest point total in Origins this week. Weapons of Mass Production took a 4.60-point lead on Thursday and maintained an advantage throughout the matchup. The Clam Diggers just don’t have what it takes to beat Weapons of Mass Production, who extended their career unbeaten streak to four games in the series. Justin Forsett (acquired via free agency in Week 5) made a big impact, posting 24.20 points. Adding insult to injury, the Clam Diggers got zero points from both Rob Ninkovich and Blair Walsh. Weapons of Mass Production (6-4, 1,540.44 points) remains in sixth place and the Clam Diggers (4-6, 1,328.82 points) stay in seventh place.

Andre Ellington had plenty of chances for the Clam Diggers (23 to be exact), but could only manage 1.8 yards per touch.

While Arian Foster led Weapons of Mass Production in Week 8 (with 36.30 points) and Antonio Brown last week (24.40 points), Peyton Manning has now been the team’s high scorer twice in the previous four weeks.

Weapons of Mass Production faces I Got Sacks On Sacks On Sacks (7-3, 1,435.34) next week. The Clam Diggers will take on the St Pete ConVICKS (7-3, 1,516.43), who are averaging a strong 151.64 points per game.

BUCKNASTY’S BOYS Light Up I Got Sacks On Sacks On Sacks for 3rd Consecutive Win

The BUCKNASTY’S BOYS took advantage of the third-highest score by a player this season from Marshawn Lynch with 41.30 points (140 Rsh Yds, 4 TD), clobbering I Got Sacks On Sacks On Sacks 159.66 to 98.14. The BUCKNASTY’S BOYS took a 1.86-point lead on Sunday afternoon and maintained that advantage for the rest of the matchup. This win had a taste of revenge for the BUCKNASTY’S BOYS following a post-season defeat last year to I Got Sacks On Sacks On Sacks. Denard Robinson (acquired via free agency in Week 8) made a big impact, posting 18.00 points. Both teams left points off the scoreboard as the BUCKNASTY’S BOYS had one starter turn in zero points and I Got Sacks On Sacks On Sacks had two. The BUCKNASTY’S BOYS (8-2, 1,322.43 points) remain in first place and I Got Sacks On Sacks On Sacks (7-3, 1,435.34 points) stays in third place.

LeSean McCoy had plenty of looks for I Got Sacks On Sacks On Sacks (13 to be exact), but could only manage 1.5 yards per touch.

After Jeremy Maclin led the BUCKNASTY’S BOYS last week with 31.80 points, Lynch was the team’s top scorer for the second time this season.

In Week 11, the BUCKNASTY’S BOYS meet the last-place team in Origins, Peyton’s Girl (1-9, 1,152.91). I Got Sacks On Sacks On Sacks get Weapons of Mass Production (6-4, 1,540.44), who has averaged a league-leading 154.04 points this season.

Hakeem I Saw I Conquered Punishes Peyton’s Girl, Takes Control of Career Series, 2-1

Hakeem I Saw I Conquered recorded the highest point total in Origins this week to crush Peyton’s Girl 174.74 to 119.78. After losing their fifth straight, Peyton’s Girl has fallen apart. Hakeem I Saw I Conquered, already one of the highest-scoring teams in the league this season, beat their 126.44 per game average by 38%. Hakeem I Saw I Conquered started one player with zero points while Peyton’s Girl served up two goose eggs, meaning both sides missed scoring opportunities. Hakeem I Saw I Conquered (6-4, 1,264.44 points) remains in fifth place and Peyton’s Girl (1-9, 1,152.91 points) stays locked in last place.

There was one player on Hakeem I Saw I Conquered that missed out on opportunities. Even though Michael Crabtree saw a total of eight targets, he reeled in just three catches.

For the second time this year, Tony Romo was the leading scorer on Hakeem I Saw I Conquered.

Hakeem I Saw I Conquered meets JUICE’S and BERRY’s (2-8, 1,109.00) next week. Peyton’s Girl gets first-place the BUCKNASTY’S BOYS (8-2, 1,322.43).

St Pete ConVICKS Get Victory over NC Bad Boys, Notches 4th in a Row

A rally on Sunday Night Football (38.70 points, 35% of their total score) wasn’t enough for the NC Bad Boys, as the St Pete ConVICKS got the 136.18 to 110.34 victory. The late-match efforts were a bit unexpected, considering their original Sunday night projection was only 33.60 points. The St Pete ConVICKS was led by Martavis Bryant, who contributed 24.30 points to the final tally (143 Rec Yds, 1 TD). Adding insult to injury, the NC Bad Boys had a starter score zero points (Rolando McClain). The St Pete ConVICKS (7-3, 1,516.43 points) remain in fourth place, while the NC Bad Boys (3-7, 1,188.43 points) stay in 10th place.

Sadly for the NC Bad Boys, Andy Dalton wasn’t just the lone QB to tally a negative score; he was the only starter throughout the whole league in negative territory. Additionally, the St Pete ConVICKS had a noteworthy player who could’ve better connected with his QB. Even though Mohamed Sanu saw a total of seven targets, he only reeled in two catches.

Since Bryant was the top scorer for the St Pete ConVICKS, it means a different player has led the team in each of the last four weeks. With 36.12 points, Russell Wilson paced the squad in Week 7, while Matt Forte (25.80 points) was tops in Week 8 and Sanu (21.40 points) last week.

Next week, the St Pete ConVICKS take on the Clam Diggers (4-6, 1,328.82) while the NC Bad Boys match up against The Monstars (4-6, 1,325.90).

Georgia Boy Beats the Pants Off JUICE’S and BERRY’s for 6th in a Row

Georgia Boy picked up the second-highest score by a player this season from Aaron Rodgers with 44.60 points (315 Pas Yds, 6 TD) to crush JUICE’S and BERRY’s 142.30 to 82.80. Georgia Boy has made a name for themselves as a tough opponent after winning their last six matchups, while JUICE’S and BERRY’s is headed in a different direction, having lost their last six. Jordy Nelson led JUICE’S and BERRY’s with 32.20 points (152 Rec Yds, 2 TD) while Antonio Cromartie brought in 12.40 (1 TD, 1 Fum). Both teams left points off the scoreboard as Georgia Boy had one starter turn in zero points and JUICE’S and BERRY’s had four. Georgia Boy (8-2, 1,414.00 points) remains in second place and JUICE’S and BERRY’s (2-8, 1,109.00 points) stay in 11th place.

Since Rodgers was the top scorer for Georgia Boy, it means a different player has led the team in each of the last four weeks. With 31.10 points, Demaryius Thomas paced the squad in Week 7, while Rob Gronkowski (34.90 points) was tops in Week 8 and Ronnie Hillman (18.30 points) last week.

Georgia Boy squares off against Pick 6’n (4-6, 1,169.47) next week, while JUICE’S and BERRY’s match up against Hakeem I Saw I Conquered (6-4, 1,264.44).

The Monstars Pull Off Comeback over Pick 6’n for 3rd in a Row

The Monstars got 21.90 points from Alec Ogletree (1 Int, 6 Tack) to defeat Pick 6’n 145.62 to 122.42. The Monstars came into the Sunday night game facing a 0.60-point deficit, but scored 20.80 for the comeback victory. Pick 6’n is not on the same level as The Monstars, who extended their career unbeaten streak to three games in the series. Even though these teams are tied for eighth place with matching 4-6 records, The Monstars have a solid lead in points, 1,325.90 to 1,169.47. Ben Roethlisberger (acquired via free agency in Week 6) made a big impact, posting 18.12 points. The Monstars started one player with zero points while Pick 6’n served up two goose eggs, meaning each team left something on the table.

For the first time this year, Ogletree was the leading scorer on The Monstars.

The Monstars play the NC Bad Boys (3-7, 1,188.43) in Week 11, while Pick 6’n goes up against Georgia Boy (8-2, 1,414.00).

C/O 2013

F-U-Pay-Me Steals Win from NC Titans, Climbs to 5th Place

F-U-Pay-Me was clutch under the lights with 82.20 points on Sunday Night Football (52% of their total score) to steal the win from the NC Titans 159.20 to 138.86. The late heroics were a little unexpected, since they were originally projected to score 57.38 points on Sunday night. F-U-Pay-Me was led by Aaron Rodgers this week (315 Pas Yds, 6 TD). The Green Bay gunslinger passed for six touchdowns and contributed 44.60 points to the final tally. Justin Forsett also chipped in 24.20 points by getting two touchdowns (112 Rsh Yds, 2 TD). Each team left something on the table as F-U-Pay-Me had one starter turn in zero points and the NC Titans also had one. F-U-Pay-Me (5-5, 1,288.14 points) climbs into fifth place, while the NC Titans (6-4, 1,320.31 points) drop to third place.

Frank Gore had numerous looks for the NC Titans, but only produced 3.5 yards per touch.

While Rob Gronkowski led F-U-Pay-Me in Week 8 (with 34.90 points) and Carson Palmer in Week 9 (17.76 points), Rodgers has now been the team’s leading scorer in four of the last six matches.

In Week 11, F-U-Pay-Me takes on Over Dwayne Bowe (3-7, 1,230.57) while the NC Titans get DeSeantourage (7-3, 1,426.35).

I go Deep Picks Up Win Against Over Dwayne Bowe, Drops Them into 11th Place

Over Dwayne Bowe had scoring issues this week and lost to I go Deep 111.28 to 55.88. I go Deep took a 2.30-point lead on Thursday and maintained an advantage throughout the matchup. While each team played way below projections, I go Deep got the win with just 75.4% of their projected 147.60 points. I go Deep started two players with zero points while Over Dwayne Bowe served up six goose eggs, meaning both sides missed scoring opportunities. Over Dwayne Bowe (3-7, 1,230.57 points) drops to 11th place and I go Deep (3-7, 1,179.55 points) remains mired in last place.

There was one glaring starter on I go Deep that missed out on opportunities. Despite being targeted 10 times, A.J. Green could only manage three catches.

For the first time this year, Patrick Peterson was the leading scorer on I go Deep.

In Week 11, I go Deep squares off against Eventual Champions (5-5, 1,264.99), while Over Dwayne Bowe matches up against F-U-Pay-Me (5-5, 1,288.14).

V-Town Rips Apart Eventual Champions, Moves Up to 10th Place

V-Town recorded the second-highest score this week to put a thrashing on Eventual Champions 162.42 to 95.08. It was an epic rout, with the 67.34-point margin being the fifth-highest recorded in C/O 2013 this season. Eventual Champions was led by Kelvin Benjamin with 20.00 points (70 Rec Yds, 2 TD) and Torrey Smith, who scored 13.50 (75 Rec Yds, 1 TD). With Antonio Allen delivering zero points for V-Town, the result might have been even worse. V-Town (3-7, 1,420.49 points) climbs into 10th place and Eventual Champions (5-5, 1,264.99 points) drop to eighth place.

Andre Williams and Darren McFadden had plenty of looks for Eventual Champions, but they logged just 74 total yards on 26 combined touches between them.

After scoring 26.3 points last week, Marshawn Lynch has now led V-Town in scoring for a couple of weeks in a row.

V-Town matches up against PizzaFreak (5-5, 1,276.26) in Week 11. Eventual Champions take on last-place I go Deep (3-7, 1,179.55).

DeSeantourage Rallies Late to Beat Hero7861 to Capture 2nd Place

DeSeantourage had an excellent primetime showing with 32.20 points on Sunday Night Football and 22.60 on Monday (a combined 43% of their total score) to pick up the comeback victory over Hero7861 127.88 to 121.90. The late heroics were a bit unexpected, since they were projected to tally just 24.40 points on Sunday night and only 8.70 on Monday. DeSeantourage was led by Jordy Nelson (152 Rec Yds, 2 TD). The Green Bay WR racked up 152 yards and provided all 32.20 of the team’s SNF points to the final tally. DeSeantourage played three starters with zero points while Hero7861 served up four goose eggs, meaning each team left something on the table. DeSeantourage (7-3, 1,426.35 points) climbs into second place, while Hero7861 (8-2, 1,492.05 points) stays in first place.

There was one noticeable player on DeSeantourage that left points out on the field. Even though Mohamed Sanu saw a total of seven targets, he only reeled in two catches.

DeSeantourage was fortunate that Hero7861’s best RB had his bye week, considering Mark Ingram tallied just 14.90 points. If Arian Foster (21.26 points per game this season) was active and reached his per-game average, DeSeantourage would have lost by 0.38 points. While Sanu led DeSeantourage in Week 9 with 21.40 points, Nelson paced the squad for the third time this season.

Next week, DeSeantourage takes on the NC Titans (6-4, 1,320.31) while Hero7861 gets The Pride of Detroit (4-6, 1,271.31).

PizzaFreak Gets Victory over Surprise Scorpians to Grab 6th Place

PizzaFreak put up the highest score of their season, taking down the Surprise Scorpians 148.40 to 105.96. PizzaFreak took a 21.84-point lead on Sunday afternoon and never looked back. The Surprise Scorpians just don’t have what it takes to beat PizzaFreak, who extended their career unbeaten streak to two games in the series. To make matters worse, the Surprise Scorpians got zero points from both J.J. Watt and Keenan Robinson. PizzaFreak (5-5, 1,276.26 points) climbs into sixth place and the Surprise Scorpians (5-5, 1,292.54 points) drop to seventh place.

There was one player on the Surprise Scorpians that missed out on opportunities. Despite seeing eight targets, Michael Crabtree made just three catches.

Since Dez Bryant was the leading scorer for PizzaFreak, it means a different player has now topped the team in each of the past five weeks. With 33.42 points, Colin Kaepernick paced the squad in Week 6, while Golden Tate put up 25.40 points to lead the way in Week 7. DeMarco Murray (29.10 points) was tops in Week 8 and Sio Moore (12.70 points) led in Week 9.

In Week 11, PizzaFreak meets V-Town (3-7, 1,420.49). The Surprise Scorpians will take on Cinderella (6-4, 1,485.61), who is averaging an impressive 148.56 points per game.

The Pride of Detroit Beats Cinderella, Moves to 9th Place

In an epic battle between this week’s first and third-highest-scoring teams, The Pride of Detroit beat Cinderella 184.30 to 159.74. This is the second-most a team has scored this season without getting the victory. The loss drops Cinderella to 6-4 (4th place) and breaks their five-game win streak. The score from The Pride of Detroit was tough to predict given that they only average 127.13 points per game. Martavis Bryant (143 Rec Yds, 1 TD) logged 24.30 points and Alec Ogletree (1 Int, 6 Tack) scored 21.90 points, exceeding their projections by 115.0% and 116.8%, respectively. Connor Barwin (3 Sack, 6 Tack) got 22.20 points to score 188.3% more than projected (7.70) for Cinderella.

Jordan Todman probably deserved to get more touches for The Pride of Detroit, as he put up an efficient 33 total yards on just five touches.

Since Bryant was the leading scorer for The Pride of Detroit, it means a different player has now led the team in each of the past seven matches.

The Pride of Detroit faces first-place Hero7861 (8-2, 1,492.05). Cinderella gets the Surprise Scorpians (5-5, 1,292.54).

2014’s Finest

Spartans Pick Up Victory over The Denver Broncos

The Spartans took down The Denver Broncos, who found it difficult to put points on the board, 114.68 to 70.30. The Spartans took a 39.10-point lead on Sunday afternoon and maintained that advantage for the rest of the matchup. The Spartans met their projections and put up 4.5% more than their projected 109.78 points, while The Denver Broncos failed to live up to expectations and scored only 64.7% of a projected 108.64. The Spartans started one player with zero points while The Denver Broncos served up six goose eggs, meaning both sides missed scoring opportunities. The Spartans (3-7, 1,031.13 points) remain in 11th place and The Denver Broncos (6-4, 1,364.94 points) stay in fourth place.

Anthony Dixon really deserved to get more touches for the Spartans, as he was able to produce 62 total yards on just nine touches.

While Matt Asiata led the Spartans last week (with 25.70 points), Russell Wilson has now been the team’s leading scorer in two of the last three matches.

The Spartans square off against the Sproles Royce Phantoms (4-6, 1,278.76) next week, while The Denver Broncos face the Elmboyz (5-5, 1,197.59).

Mr Rodgers Neighborhood Rallies Late to Beat Elmboyz, Drops Them into 6th Place

Mr Rodgers Neighborhood had an excellent primetime showing with 64.80 points on Sunday Night Football (43% of their total score) to seal the comeback against the Elmboyz 150.70 to 107.88. The late heroics were a little unexpected, since they were originally projected to tally 44.68 points on Sunday night. Mr Rodgers Neighborhood was led by Aaron Rodgers (315 Pas Yds, 6 TD). Rodgers passed for six touchdowns and contributed 44.60 points to the cause. If the Elmboyz didn’t have four starters put up goose eggs, things could have been different. The 150.70 points represented the highest overall total in 2014’s Finest this week. The Elmboyz (5-5, 1,197.59 points) drop to sixth place, while Mr Rodgers Neighborhood (9-1, 1,445.33 points) remains in first place.

There was one player on Mr Rodgers Neighborhood that left points out on the field. Even though Steve Smith saw a total of seven targets, he reeled in just three catches.

While Ben Roethlisberger led Mr Rodgers Neighborhood in Week 9 (with 37.60 points), Rodgers has now been the team’s top scorer in four of the last five weeks.

Mr Rodgers Neighborhood plays Mile High (4-6, 1,194.95) in Week 11 while the Elmboyz match up with The Denver Broncos (6-4, 1,364.94).

Mile High Tops Fallin-Up to Move into 8th Place

A primetime rally on Monday Night Football (41.78 points, 36% of their total score) wasn’t enough for Fallin-Up, as Mile High earned the 136.20 to 116.48 victory. The late-match efforts were somewhat unexpected, considering their original Monday projection was only 26.88 points. Mile High was led by Peyton Manning this week (340 Pas Yds, 5 TD/2 Int). Manning passed for five touchdowns and contributed 33.60 points to the final tally. Jimmy Graham also chipped in 19.60 points with two touchdowns (76 Rec Yds, 2 TD). The margin could have been larger as Mile High won despite two starters scoring zero points. Mile High (4-6, 1,194.95 points) climbs into eighth place, while Fallin-Up (5-5, 1,247.00 points) steps into fifth place.

Fallin-Up had one glaring starter that let some chances slip through his hands. Even though A.J. Green saw a total of 10 targets, he only reeled in three catches.

Averaging 27.8 points over the last three weeks alone, Manning has now led Mile High in scoring in six straight weeks, and for seven of the last eight.

Next week, Mile High faces first-place Mr Rodgers Neighborhood (9-1, 1,445.33). Fallin-Up gets The Hagermaniacs (7-3, 1,311.75).

Sproles Royce Phantoms Pick Up Win Against 99 Bortles of Beer on the Wall

The Sproles Royce Phantoms beat 99 Bortles of Beer on the Wall 150.38 to 110.06 and got the second-highest point total in 2014’s Finest this week. 99 Bortles of Beer on the Wall has failed to meet expectations for seven consecutive weeks, managing 73.8% of their 149.14 projected points in this matchup. 99 Bortles of Beer on the Wall was led by Julius Thomas with 19.30 points (63 Rec Yds, 2 TD) and Matt Ryan, who scored 14.66 (219 Pas Yds, 1 2PT, 1 TD). Both sides missed scoring opportunities as the Sproles Royce Phantoms had two starters turn in zero points and 99 Bortles of Beer on the Wall also had two. The Sproles Royce Phantoms (4-6, 1,278.76 points) fall to ninth place and 99 Bortles of Beer on the Wall (7-3, 1,456.64 points) stays in second place.

LeSean McCoy had numerous looks for 99 Bortles of Beer on the Wall, but only produced 1.5 yards per touch.

For the first time this season, Dez Bryant was the highest scorer on the Sproles Royce Phantoms.

In Week 11, the Sproles Royce Phantoms get the Spartans (3-7, 1,031.13), while 99 Bortles of Beer on the Wall faces EL JEFE (5-5, 1,145.24).

The Hagermaniacs Beat X CONS, Streak Now at Four

Justin Forsett scored two touchdowns (24.20 points) and Calvin Johnson added 19.30 points as The Hagermaniacs took down the X CONS 136.20 to 118.64. The Hagermaniacs have now won four straight matchups. The X CONS actually average more per game in losses (123.48) than wins (114.49). The outcome might have been different had the X CONS not had several starters score zero points. The Hagermaniacs (7-3, 1,311.75 points) remain in third place and the X CONS (2-8, 1,216.80 points) stay mired in last place.

Andre Ellington had numerous opportunities for the X CONS, but only produced 1.8 yards per touch.

Since Forsett was the leading scorer for The Hagermaniacs, it means a different player has now led the team in each of the last seven matches.

Next week, The Hagermaniacs get Fallin-Up (5-5, 1,247.00), while the X CONS face the M0t0rCityBall3rs (3-7, 1,160.25).

EL JEFE Gets Win over M0t0rCityBall3rs and Hands Them 5th Straight Loss

A rally on Sunday Night Football (36.70 points, 37% of their total score) wasn’t enough for the M0t0rCityBall3rs, as EL JEFE earned the 135.54 to 98.90 victory. The NFL experts were spot on with their forecasts this week, as the pre-match projections had originally called for 37.10 SNF points for the M0t0rCityBall3rs. EL JEFE was led by Eddie Lacy this week, who contributed 20.80 points (50 Rsh Yds, 68 Rec Yds, 1 Rec TD). Marcell Dareus also pitched in with 18.00 points with three sacks (3 Sack, 4 Tack, 3 Ast). Both teams could have scored more points as EL JEFE had one starter turn in zero points and the M0t0rCityBall3rs had five. The M0t0rCityBall3rs (3-7, 1,160.25 points) drop to 10th place, while EL JEFE (5-5, 1,145.24 points) remains in seventh place.

Frank Gore and Andre Williams had plenty of looks for the M0t0rCityBall3rs, but they logged just 121 total yards on 39 combined touches between them.

While Carson Palmer led EL JEFE last week with 17.76 points, Lacy paced the squad for the second time this season.

EL JEFE get a challenge in Week 11 when they go up against 99 Bortles of Beer on the Wall (7-3, 1,456.64), who average a league-leading 145.66 points per game. The M0t0rCityBall3rs will square off against the last-place X CONS (2-8, 1,216.80).
