Origins

I Got Sacks On Sacks On Sacks Humiliates Weapons of Mass Production

I Got Sacks On Sacks On Sacks put up the highest score in Origins of the week, stomping Weapons of Mass Production 163.92 to 108.96. With the win, I Got Sacks On Sacks On Sacks secures a spot in the playoffs. This win was a nice piece of revenge for I Got Sacks On Sacks On Sacks following a tough E.L.S.I.E. Bowl II loss last year to Weapons of Mass Production. The result might have been even worse as I Got Sacks On Sacks On Sacks had a starter score zero points (Dan Bailey). I Got Sacks On Sacks On Sacks (8-3, 1,599.26 points) remains in third place and Weapons of Mass Production (6-5, 1,649.40 points) stays in sixth place.

There were two starters that left points out on the field for I Got Sacks On Sacks On Sacks. Even though Odell Beckham and Sammy Watkins saw a total of 20 combined targets, they were able to reel in just nine catches between them.

After scoring 17.8 points last week, Jamaal Charles has now led I Got Sacks On Sacks On Sacks in scoring in back-to-back weeks.

In Week 12, I Got Sacks On Sacks On Sacks matches up against Peyton’s Girl (1-10, 1,267.33), the last-place team in the Origins. Weapons of Mass Production plays the St Pete ConVICKS (7-4, 1,658.40), who is averaging a league-leading 150.76 points per game.

BUCKNASTY’S BOYS Narrowly Beats Peyton’s Girl, Tacks On 4th Consecutive Win

The BUCKNASTY’S BOYS got 16.30 points from Jeremy Maclin (93 Rec Yds, 1 TD) to sneak past Peyton’s Girl 119.02 to 114.42. Peyton’s Girl is not on the same level as the BUCKNASTY’S BOYS, who extended their career unbeaten streak to two games in the series. Brandon Marshall (acquired via free agency in Week 5) has been a key addition for the BUCKNASTY’S BOYS, ranking fourth among linebackers over the last four weeks. With Aldon Smith delivering zero points for the BUCKNASTY’S BOYS, the margin could have been bigger. The BUCKNASTY’S BOYS (9-2, 1,441.45 points) remain in first place and Peyton’s Girl (1-10, 1,267.33 points) stays locked in last place.

Ahmad Bradshaw had plenty of chances for the BUCKNASTY’S BOYS, but he logged just 1.0 yards per touch.

While Marshawn Lynch led the BUCKNASTY’S BOYS last week (with 41.30 points), Maclin has now been the team’s leading scorer in two of the past three matches. With 22 touches this week for Alfred Morris, it means that his opportunities have now increased in four consecutive games.

Next week, the BUCKNASTY’S BOYS face The Monstars (4-7, 1,442.30). Peyton’s Girl takes on I Got Sacks On Sacks On Sacks (8-3, 1,599.26).

Hakeem I Saw I Conquered Beats JUICE’S and BERRY’s, Moves Up to 4th Place

Hakeem I Saw I Conquered beat JUICE’S and BERRY’s, who had scoring issues this week, 99.78 to 57.48. Hakeem I Saw I Conquered took a 13.50-point lead on Thursday and never looked back. JUICE’S and BERRY’s have dropped their last seven matchups. Michael Crabtree (acquired via free agency in Week 8) made a big impact, posting 15.50 points. Hakeem I Saw I Conquered started three players with zero points while JUICE’S and BERRY’s served up six goose eggs, meaning both sides missed scoring opportunities. Hakeem I Saw I Conquered (7-4, 1,363.72 points) climbs into fourth place and JUICE’S and BERRY’s(2-9, 1,166.48 points) stays in 11th place.

Darren Sproles ultimately deserved to get more touches for Hakeem I Saw I Conquered, as he put up an efficient 44 total yards on just four touches.

While Tony Romo led Hakeem I Saw I Conquered in Week 10 (with 23.84 points), Emmanuel Sanders has now been the team’s top scorer in two of the last three weeks.

In Week 12, Hakeem I Saw I Conquered will match up against Georgia Boy (9-2, 1,562.94). JUICE’S and BERRY’s square off against the Clam Diggers (5-6, 1,484.50).

Clam Diggers Get Win Against St Pete ConVICKS, Drops Them into 5th Place

The Clam Diggers beat the St Pete ConVICKS 155.68 to 141.97 and logged the second-highest score in Origins this week. The Clam Diggers took a 25.61-point lead on Sunday afternoon and maintained that advantage for the rest of the matchup. The Clam Diggers hit their projections and put up 1.1% more than their projected 153.94 points, while the St Pete ConVICKS fell just short of projections and got 91.7% of a projected 154.90. The St Pete ConVICKS got zero points from Michael Bennett, which might have made the difference in the outcome. The St Pete ConVICKS (7-4, 1,658.40 points) drops to fifth place and the Clam Diggers (5-6, 1,484.50 points) remains in seventh place.

Andre Ellington and Steven Jackson had a decent number of opportunities for the Clam Diggers, but they tallied just 113 total yards on 42 combined touches between them.

Since Alshon Jeffery was the top scorer for the Clam Diggers, it means a different player has led the team in each of the last four weeks. With 18.68 points, Jay Cutler paced the squad in Week 8, while Ryan Tannehill (28.22 points) was tops in Week 9 and Dez Bryant (31.80 points) last week. With 17 targets this week for Jeffery, it means that his targets have now risen in three consecutive games.

The Clam Diggers will face JUICE’S and BERRY’s (2-9, 1,166.48) in Week 12. The St Pete ConVICKS plays Weapons of Mass Production (6-5, 1,649.40), who is averaging an impressive 149.95 points per game.

Georgia Boy Tramples Pick 6’n for 7th in a Row

Georgia Boy took advantage of the third-highest score by a player this week from Aaron Rodgers with 31.44 points (341 Pas Yds, 32 Rsh Yds, 3 TD) to crush Pick 6’n 148.94 to 75.90. Georgia Boy took a 4.10-point lead on Thursday and never looked back. Georgia Boy has developed a reputation as unbeatable after winning their last seven matchups, while Pick 6’n is hurting, having lost their last four. On top of the loss, Pick 6’n had a starter score zero points (Vontaze Burfict). Pick 6’n (4-7, 1,245.37 points) drops to 10th place and Georgia Boy (9-2, 1,562.94 points) remains in second place.

Mark Ingram and Branden Oliver had a decent number of opportunities for Georgia Boy, but they tallied just 136 total yards on 44 combined touches between them.

After scoring 44.6 points last week, Rodgers has now led Georgia Boy in scoring for two weeks in a row.

In Week 12, Georgia Boy will face Hakeem I Saw I Conquered (7-4, 1,363.72). Pick 6’n takes on the NC Bad Boys (4-7, 1,340.53).

NC Bad Boys Pick Up Win Against The Monstars to Move into 8th Place

The duo of Le’Veon Bell and Brandon Marshall led the charge, as the NC Bad Boys picked up a win against The Monstars 152.10 to 116.40. That tandem combined to score 52.20 points, clearly outpacing Eddie Lacy and Alec Ogletree (42.90 combined points), the top two on The Monstars. Bell rushed for 204 yards, registering 30.20 points (204 Rsh Yds, 1 TD). Marshall also recorded two touchdowns on his way to 22.00 points (90 Rec Yds, 2 TD). The NC Bad Boys took a 4.00-point lead on Thursday and remained in front for the rest of the matchup. The Monstars just cannot match up against the NC Bad Boys, who extended their career unbeaten streak to three games in the series. These two teams are tied for eighth place with 4-7 records, but The Monstars have a clear lead in points, 1,442.30 to 1,340.53.

Shane Vereen probably deserved to get more touches for the NC Bad Boys, as he was able to produce 77 total yards on just five touches.

Since Bell was the leading scorer for the NC Bad Boys, it means a different player has now topped the team in each of the past five weeks. With 24.40 points, Vereen paced the squad in Week 7, while Nick Foles put up 26.84 points to lead the way in Week 8. Jarvis Landry (19.20 points) was tops in Week 9 and Calvin Johnson (19.30 points) led last week.

Next week, the NC Bad Boys meet Pick 6’n (4-7, 1,245.37). The Monstars will take on league-leader the BUCKNASTY’S BOYS (9-2, 1,441.45).

C/O 2013

F-U-Pay-Me Obliterates Over Dwayne Bowe

A rally in prime time on Sunday Night Football (35.40 points, 38% of their total score) wasn’t nearly enough for Over Dwayne Bowe, as F-U-Pay-Me easily got the 158.14 to 92.82 victory. The late efforts were ultimately a little underwhelming, as their original Sunday night projection was 51.20 points. F-U-Pay-Me was led by Aaron Rodgers (341 Pas Yds, 32 Rsh Yds, 3 TD). Rodgers passed for 341 yards and contributed 31.44 points in the beatdown. Adding insult to injury, Over Dwayne Bowe got goose eggs from both Geno Hayes and Percy Harvin. F-U-Pay-Me had the highest score in C/O 2013 this week, as well as the sixth-largest margin of victory in the league this season. F-U-Pay-Me (6-5, 1,446.28 points) falls to sixth place, while Over Dwayne Bowe (3-8, 1,323.39 points) stays in 11th place.

Shane Vereen probably deserved to get more touches for Over Dwayne Bowe, as he put up an efficient 77 total yards on just five touches.

After scoring 44.6 points last week, Rodgers has now led F-U-Pay-Me in scoring for two weeks in a row. With 17 targets this week for Alshon Jeffery, it means that his targets have now increased in three consecutive games.

In Week 12, F-U-Pay-Me goes up against DeSeantourage (7-4, 1,533.15). Over Dwayne Bowe gets Eventual Champions (5-6, 1,365.37).

I go Deep Steals One from Eventual Champions for 3rd in a Row

I go Deep (4-7, 1,289.23 points) got the win against Eventual Champions (5-6, 1,365.37 points) 109.68 to 99.38 led by A.J. Green (127 Rec Yds, 1 TD) with 19.70 points. I go Deep came into the Sunday games already in front 9.80 to 6.50. They surrendered that lead after the late Sunday games and were losing 99.38 to 91.10. However, by the end of the Patriots/Colts Sunday night game I go Deep took the lead for good with the help of 14.08 points from Tom Brady.

On I go Deep, Ben Tate wasn’t just the one RB to post a negative score; he was the only starter throughout the entire league in negative territory. Rashad Jennings had plenty of opportunities for Eventual Champions (22 to be exact), but could only manage 3.0 yards per touch.

After Patrick Peterson led I go Deep last week with 21.00 points, Green was the team’s top scorer for the first time this season.

I go Deep faces The Pride of Detroit (4-7, 1,390.63) in Week 12. Eventual Champions take on Over Dwayne Bowe (3-8, 1,323.39).

PizzaFreak Wins Against V-Town, Drops Them into Last Place

Brandon Marshall scored two touchdowns (22.00 points) and Colin Kaepernick added 18.12 points as PizzaFreak took down V-Town 114.62 to 107.50. Both sides fell short of expectations, but PizzaFreak scored 97.5% of a projected 117.60 points to pick up the win. Brandon Marshall (acquired via free agency in Week 3) and Tre Mason (acquired via free agency in Week 3) made a big impact, posting 16.00 and 12.40 points, respectively. Each team left something on the table as PizzaFreak had two starters turn in zero points and V-Town had three. PizzaFreak (6-5, 1,390.88 points) lands in seventh place and V-Town (3-8, 1,527.99 points) sinks into the cellar.

There was one player on V-Town that missed out on some chances. Despite seeing seven targets, Sammy Watkins made just three catches.

PizzaFreak was very fortunate that V-Town’s top QB was on his bye week, since Eli Manning could only manage 3.20 points. If Tony Romo (16.22 points per game this year) had played and hit his per-game figure, PizzaFreak would have been beaten by 5.90 points. Since Brandon Marshall was the high scorer for PizzaFreak, it means a different player has now led the team in each of the past six matches. With 33.42 points, Kaepernick paced the squad in Week 6, while Golden Tate (25.40 points) was team-leader in Week 7 and DeMarco Murray (29.10 points) led the way in Week 8. Sio Moore (12.70 points) was tops in Week 9 and Dez Bryant (31.80 points) led in Week 10.

Next week, PizzaFreak will meet the NC titans (7-4, 1,450.23). V-Town gets the Surprise Scorpians (6-5, 1,408.46).

NC Titans Pick Up Win Against DeSeantourage, Claims 2nd Place

Eddie Lacy scored two touchdowns (23.40 points) and Andrew Luck threw for 303 yards (19.62 points) as the NC Titans defeated DeSeantourage 129.92 to 106.80. In this matchup, DeSeantourage scored a lamentable 64.4% of their 165.86 projected points, and they’ve now failed to meet projections for eight consecutive weeks. Even though these teams are tied for second place with matching 7-4 records, DeSeantourage has a solid lead in points, 1,533.15 to 1,450.23. Both teams could have scored more points as the NC Titans had two starters turn in zero points and DeSeantourage had one.

Darren Sproles really deserved more touches for DeSeantourage, as he was able to put up 44 total yards on just four touches.

After scoring 20.8 points last week, Lacy has now led the NC Titans in scoring for a couple of weeks in a row.

Next week, the NC Titans face PizzaFreak (6-5, 1,390.88). DeSeantourage gets F-U-Pay-Me (6-5, 1,446.28).

Surprise Scorpians Pull Off Comeback over Cinderella, Grabs 5th Place

The Surprise Scorpians got 29.80 points from Jamaal Charles (159 Rsh Yds, 2 TD) and 20.30 from J.J. Watt (1 Sack, 1 Fum, 4 Tack), stealing one from Cinderella 115.92 to 113.24. The Surprise Scorpians came into the Sunday night game facing a 9.02-point deficit, but scored 13.70 for the comeback victory. This was a back-and-forth battle that saw the lead change hands three times, with the largest lead being 18.22 points after Sunday afternoon. Cinderella just doesn’t have what it takes to beat the Surprise Scorpians, who extended their career unbeaten streak to two games in the series. Even though these teams are tied for fifth place with matching 6-5 records, Cinderella has a solid lead in points, 1,598.85 to 1,408.46. The outcome could have been worse as the Surprise Scorpians had a starter score zero points (Muhammad Wilkerson).

Branden Oliver had plenty of chances for the Surprise Scorpians, but he logged just 2.8 yards per touch.

Averaging 20.9 points over the last month, Charles has now led the Surprise Scorpians in scoring for four consecutive weeks. With 22 touches this week for Alfred Morris, it means that his opportunities have now increased in four consecutive games.

In Week 12, the Surprise Scorpians meet V-Town (3-8, 1,527.99), the last-place team in C/O 2013. Cinderella will square off against league-leader Hero7861 (9-2, 1,625.31).

Hero7861 Rallies to Beat The Pride of Detroit, Takes Revenge

Hero7861 had an excellent primetime showing with 46.70 points on Monday Night Football (35% of their total score) to seal the comeback against The Pride of Detroit 133.26 to 123.32. The late heroics were somewhat unexpected, since they were originally projected to have 31.80 points on Monday night. Hero7861 was led by Le’Veon Bell (204 Rsh Yds, 1 TD). Bell rushed for 204 yards and contributed 30.20 points to the total. The Pride of Detroit (4-7, 1,390.63 points) drops to 10th place, while Hero7861 (9-2, 1,625.31 points) remains in first place.

Steven Jackson got several opportunities for Hero7861, but only produced 2.5 yards per touch.

Since Bell was the top scorer for Hero7861, it means a different player has led the team in each of the last four matches. With 36.30 points, Arian Foster paced the squad in Week 8, while Antonio Brown (24.40 points) was tops in Week 9 and Peyton Manning (33.60 points) in Week 10.

Next week, Hero7861 battles Cinderella (6-5, 1,598.85), who puts up a solid 145.35 points per game. The Pride of Detroit plays I go Deep (4-7, 1,289.23).

2014’s Finest

The Denver Broncos Punish Elmboyz, Drops Them into 7th Place

The Denver Broncos clobbered the Elmboyz 177.92 to 118.70 while putting up the fourth-highest point total of the season. The Denver Broncos took a 24.22-point lead on Sunday afternoon and maintained that advantage for the rest of the matchup. It was a legendary beating, with the 59.22-point margin being the sixth-highest recorded in 2014’s Finest this season. Adding insult to injury, the Elmboyz had two starters score zero points (Justin Tucker and Terrance Williams). The Elmboyz (5-6, 1,316.29 points) drop to seventh place and The Denver Broncos (7-4, 1,542.86 points) remain in fourth place.

Mark Ingram had plenty of opportunities for the Elmboyz (30 to be exact), but could only manage 3.2 yards per touch.

For the first time this year, Alfred Blue was the leading scorer on The Denver Broncos.

The Denver Broncos will face the Sproles Royce Phantoms (5-6, 1,403.46) in Week 12. The Elmboyz will take on Mile High (4-7, 1,287.41).

Powered by Their Big Three, Mr Rodgers Neighborhood Puts the Sting on Mile High

The triumvirate of Aaron Rodgers, Brandon Marshall, and Alec Ogletree carried the team, as Mr Rodgers Neighborhood dismantled Mile High 149.34 to 92.46. That threesome combined to score 72.94 points, substantially more than Peyton Manning, Odell Beckham, and DeMarcus Ware (42.06 combined points), the top three on Mile High. Rodgers passed for 341 yards, accounting for 31.44 points (341 Pas Yds, 32 Rsh Yds, 3 TD). Marshall put up two touchdowns to contribute 22.00 points (90 Rec Yds, 2 TD), while Ogletree pitched in 19.50 points (1 Int, 10 Tack, 3 Ast). Also, Rodgers recorded the third-highest point total in the league this week. Each team left something on the table as Mr Rodgers Neighborhood had one starter turn in zero points and Mile High had two. With the win, Mr Rodgers Neighborhood moves to 10-1 (1,594.67) and clinches a playoff spot. Mile High (4-7, 1,287.41 points) drops to ninth place, while Mr Rodgers Neighborhood (10-1, 1,594.67 points) remains in first place.

There was one player on Mile High that missed out on some chances. Despite being targeted 13 times, Beckham hauled in just six catches.

After scoring 44.6 points last week, Rodgers has now led Mr Rodgers Neighborhood in scoring in back-to-back weeks, and for three of the last four.

Mr Rodgers Neighborhood will match up against EL JEFE (6-5, 1,277.74) in Week 12. Mile High gets the Elmboyz (5-6, 1,316.29).

Powered by Their Big Three, Fallin-Up Picks Up Victory over The Hagermaniacs

The triple threat of Le’Veon Bell, Jamaal Charles, and Chris Borland led the charge, as Fallin-Up beat The Hagermaniacs 169.34 to 128.92. That threesome combined to score 87.20 points, clearly outperforming the top scorers from The Hagermaniacs (Bishop Sankey, Coby Fleener, and Johnthan Banks), who totaled 50.00 points. Bell rushed for 204 yards, adding 30.20 points (204 Rsh Yds, 1 TD). Meanwhile, Charles put up 159 rushing yards (29.80 points) and Borland picked off two passes (27.20 points). Bell also recorded his highest point total of the season, with Charles tallying his highest point total of the season. With 169.34 points, Fallin-Up had their best total of the season. Fallin-Up played two starters with zero points while The Hagermaniacs served up one goose egg, meaning each team left something on the table. Fallin-Up (6-5, 1,416.34 points) remains in fifth place, while The Hagermaniacs (7-4, 1,440.67 points) stays in third place.

There were two starters that missed out on opportunities for The Hagermaniacs. Even though Calvin Johnson and Sammy Watkins saw a total of 19 combined targets, they were able to reel in just eight catches between them.

Fallin-Up was on another level in the backfield, as they started two of the league’s top-five overall RB’s this week. While Mark Sanchez led Fallin-Up in Week 10 with 28.58 points, Bell paced the squad for the fourth time this season.

Next week, Fallin-Up meets the X CONS (3-8, 1,332.28). The Hagermaniacs square off against the Spartans (3-8, 1,121.26), who sits in last place.

Sproles Royce Phantoms Get Win Against Spartans, Tacks On 3rd Consecutive Win

With the duo of J.J. Watt and Emmanuel Sanders leading the charge, the Sproles Royce Phantoms got a victory over the Spartans 124.70 to 90.13. That tandem joined forces to record 38.50 points, significantly outperforming Jordan Matthews and Tom Brady (31.78 combined points), the top two on the Spartans. Watt (1 Sack, 1 Fum, 4 Tack) put up 20.30 points, while Sanders (102 Rec Yds, 1 TD) also tacked on 18.20 for the victors. The Sproles Royce Phantoms took an 8.80-point lead on Thursday and never looked back. The Sproles Royce Phantoms have found success lately and is on a three-game winning streak. On top of the loss, the Spartans received no points from LeGarrette Blount. The Sproles Royce Phantoms (5-6, 1,403.46 points) climb into eighth place and the Spartans (3-8, 1,121.26 points) sink into the cellar.

Steven Jackson had plenty of opportunities for the Sproles Royce Phantoms, but he logged just 2.5 yards per touch.

Since Watt was the top scorer for the Sproles Royce Phantoms, it means a different player has led the team in each of the last four weeks. With 31.60 points, Sanders paced the squad in Week 8, while Drew Brees (18.08 points) was tops in Week 9 and Dez Bryant (31.80 points) in Week 10.

The Sproles Royce Phantoms will match up against The Denver Broncos (7-4, 1,542.86) next week. The Spartans get The Hagermaniacs (7-4, 1,440.67).

X CONS Bring Down M0t0rCityBall3rs, Moves to 10th Place

The X CONS took down the M0t0rCityBall3rs, who had trouble scoring points this week, 115.48 to 73.02. The X CONS took a 9.80-point lead on Thursday and remained in front for the rest of the matchup. The M0t0rCityBall3rs have dropped their last six matchups. These two teams are tied for 10th place with 3-8 records, but the X CONS have a clear lead in points, 1,332.28 to 1,233.27. Each team left something on the table as the X CONS had one starter turn in zero points and the M0t0rCityBall3rs had four.

Andre Ellington got several looks for the X CONS, but only produced 2.9 yards per touch.

Since Kelvin Benjamin was the leading scorer for the X CONS, it means a different player has now led the team in each of the last 10 weeks.

The X CONS face Fallin-Up (6-5, 1,416.34) in Week 12. The M0t0rCityBall3rs square off against 99 Bortles of Beer on the Wall (7-4, 1,576.96), who has averaged an impressive 143.36 points this season.

EL JEFE Beats 99 Bortles of Beer on the Wall to Grab 6th Place

Eddie Lacy scored two touchdowns (23.40 points) and Alshon Jeffery added 21.50 points as EL JEFE took down 99 Bortles of Beer on the Wall 131.50 to 120.32. 99 Bortles of Beer on the Wall scored 73.1% of their projected points in this matchup, and they’ve failed to hit their projections for eight weeks straight. Andy Dalton (acquired via free agency in Week 11) and Adam Jones (acquired via free agency in Week 11) made a big impact, posting 21.00 and 13.80 points, respectively. EL JEFE (6-5, 1,277.74 points) climbs into sixth place and 99 Bortles of Beer on the Wall (7-4, 1,576.96 points) stays in second place.

Shane Vereen probably deserved more touches for 99 Bortles of Beer on the Wall, as he was able to put up 77 total yards on just five touches.

After scoring 20.8 points last week, Lacy has now led EL JEFE in scoring in two straight weeks. With 17 targets this week for Jeffery, it means that his targets have now risen in three consecutive games.

Next week, EL JEFE meets league-leader Mr Rodgers Neighborhood (10-1, 1,594.67). 99 Bortles of Beer on the Wall squares off against the M0t0rCityBall3rs (3-8, 1,233.27).
