**COMMISSIONER’S NOTE**

Double Headers Scoring Glitch

Phlying High was the only team affected by this weeks scoring glitch in their game against The Gremlins, which is what I was hoping would happen. Sorry Phlying High. In 48 double header games played (Week 4 & Week 8), only 2 games had to be corrected and both of those games came down to 1 pt.

With one more Double Header Weekend coming down the road (Week 12), this scoring glitch will be history…

The Keeper’s Deadline

Just as a heads up, The Keeper’s Deadline is Wednesday, November 11th @11:00pm EST. You can email, call, text, scream, etc. you keeper’s to me as I will be getting with each of you on how to set your Keeper Values.

The Keeper’s Value

Keeper’s are slowly coming in and I’m manually going over the Keeper’s Values with all owner/coaches personally so they have a grasp of how to sign their keepers contracts for next season. I will share my keepers values for those who still do not have a full understanding of how to use the new Keeper’s Value system as for example purposes for other teams. The example below should help guide you through establishing your teams keepers & values.

DeSeantourage

Franchise Tag Option Exercised

  1. Franchise Tagged: Randall Cobb-WR – Player has a chance to become the Face of the Franchise, meaning this player will have to be resigned to the maximum contract available (a Keeper 3 contract in 2016) to keep this player beyond the 2016 season. If not, this player will HAVE to go back to the draft pool to be redrafted.
  2. Keeper 1 Contract: Matt Forte-RB – Player will become a Restricted Free Agent in 2016, meaning this player will have to be resigned to the maximum contract available (a Keeper 3 contract in 2016) to keep this player beyond the 2016 season. If not, this player will HAVE to go back to the draft pool to be redrafted.
  3. Keeper 2 Contract: Lavonte David-LB – Player is signed with team till the 2017 season.
  4. Keeper 3 Contract: Todd Gurley-RBPlayer is signed with team till the 2018 season.

DeSeantourage has a big decision coming in 2016 as they will have to figure out which of the two players they will lock up for the future…, Randall Cobb-WR or Matt Forte-RB. Only one will return to the team for the 2017 season.
