**Top 3 Rounds Breakdown**
***ADP Info from the Fantasy Football Calculator***
1st Round
It will be interesting to see which direction Rob Thomas will choose to go in 2022. As of writing this, Aaron Jones-RB has a 1st Round asking price although his average draft position (ADP) is 2.04, (or 16th overall). Does he reach and keep Jones or look to see which top RB’s are coming back to the draft pool.
2nd Round
Brandin Cooks-WR is the only player on the team asking for a 2nd round pick to keep them. Cooks finished 5th on the team in scoring and was the primary pass catcher. Another big decision to make here, it will be interesting to see which way the team goes…
3rd Round
David Montgomery-RB is the only player on the team asking for a 3rd round pick. Montgomery was an RB3 on this roster last season behind Jones and James Conner. Montgomery might be worth keeping if they do decide to let Aaron Jones walk to keep their first rounder.
Other Notable Roster Moves
Hunter Henry-TE, Fred Warner-LB and the stud that is Trevon Diggs-DB are all asking for 4th round picks. With only one 4th round pick to go round, they will have to make a decision if they do decide to keep more then one of these players on the roster going forward. Diggs would be my choice here…
Devin White-LB has been the center piece of this defense for the last two seasons and that wouldn’t change in 2022 if I had anything to do with it. This is a no brainer, keep White for a 5th round pick.
Another no brainer to me would be keeping D.J. Moore-WR. Moore was the WR2 on this team last season and with an asking price of only a 6th rounder you’d be wise to keep that production on this roster for another season.
The 7th round is where things get very tricky for this team. Josh Allen-QB, James Conner-RB, and Adam Thielen-WR all have an asking price of a 7th round pick. With only one 7th rounder to go around they will have to make some decisions here.
One option available is they could choose to over pay one of these players by giving up a 6th rounder instead, say by giving up a 6th round pick for Allen and then their 7th rounder for Conner or Thielen. Although that would then cause issues if they wanted to keep D.J. Moore-WR with their 6th rounder.
They would in turn have another issue if they decided to over pay to keep Moore with their 5th rounder due to the fact that Devin White-LB has a 5th round asking price. You see where I’m going here.
Aaron Rodgers for an 8th round pick would be something I’d pull the trigger on and let Justin Fields-QB walk since he has the same 8th round asking price.
