Cam Newton of the Carolina Panthers

Welcome Back Cotter!!! Yeah I know, the last two weeks for me have been extremely time consuming. Between my regular 8-5, my own personal web design company, the Thanksgiving holiday, and the unfortunate passing of my friends brother, my time has been limited to say the least. I apologize to all those who look forward to reading the league stories in The League! In no way did I mean to abandon you guys…, and gal.  🙂  Anyway, enough about me, be sure to check out the special Playoff Preview I put up on TheE.L.S.I.E.com and “Let’s Get To It!!!”

This weeks fantasy champ Cam Newton amassed 306 Pass Yds & 2 Pass TD’s and 52 Rush Yds & 2 Rush TD’s for 35.44 fantasy points. Unfortunately for the Tampa Giants (2-10), this huge performance was left on the sidelines in wake of losing to Weapons of Mass Production (7-5). Arian Foster (23.70), DL-J.J. Watt (14.00) and K-Dan Bailey (14.00) did enough for the Weapons of Mass Production to pull out the win. Steve Johnson (15.60) and Hakeem Nicks (13.70) lead the Tampa Giants in scoring but Cam Newton and Chris Rainey’s (14.70) sideline performances were the story from this game.

#4 I Got Sacks On Sacks On Sacks (9-3) pulled out a close upset victory over #3 Maclin on Your Girl (8-4). I Got Sacks On Sacks On Sacks relied heavily on Dez Bryant (26.10), Colin Kaepernick (19.94) and LB-James Laurinaitis (14.50) to out gun Maclin on Your Girl’s Tom Brady (33.42) and Jacquizz Rodgers (21.20). Malcom Floyd’s (12.50) sideline performance would have made the difference.

#5 DemBoys (8-4) got sweet revenge and avenged their earlier loss this season, topping top ranked #1 St. Pete ConVICKS (9-3). DemBoys got solid performances from Julio Jones (22.70), DB-Janoris Jenkins (20.00) and Stevan Ridley (15.70) despite leaving another solid performance on the bench in Ahmad Bradshaw (17.90). Randall Cobb (23.70) and Steven Jackson (13.90) lead the St. Pete ConVICKS in scoring but Matthew Stafford’s (24.34) sideline performance would have made the difference.

Despite Pick 6’n (8-4) leaving Leon Washington’s (21.20) solid performance on the sidelines, they did enough to knock off the Clam Diggers (1-11). T.Y. Hilton (26.40), Andre Johnson (19.80), Ray Rice (16.40) and Matt Ryan (15.42) are just a few stars that lead Pick 6’n in scoring. Alfred Morris (17.30) and Wes Welker (14.00) lead the Clam Diggers in scoring but the bigger story was Tony Romo’s (28.34) and Julian Edelman’s (22.90) sideline performances.

The NC Bad Boys (5-7) defeated Peyton’s Girl (2-10) to finish the regular season one game back from a .500 record. The NC Bad Boys’ RG3 (28.06), Calvin Johnson (20.00) and Jacoby Jones (15.70) lead them in scoring as Peyton’s Girl Eli Manning (22.16), Pierre Garcon (17.30), LB-Stephen Tulloch (14.50) and Reggie Bush (14.20) couldn’t keep pace.

And finally, #2 The Monstars (9-3) took care of the BUCKNASTYS BOYS (4-8) in impressive fashion. The Monstars, lead by Doug Martin (18.30), featured nine players that produced double digit performances. As for the BUCKNASTYS BOYS, the law firm of BenJarvus Green-Ellis (19.80), Russell Wilson (18.76) and A.J. Green (13.20) were their heavy hitters in a losing effort.

Final Top 5 Standings:
1. The Monstars (9-3)
2. I Got Sacks On Sacks On Sacks (9-3)
3. St. Pete ConVICKS (9-3)
4. Maclin on Your Girl (8-4)
5. Pick 6’n (8-4)
