Joe Flacco of the Baltimore Ravens

With ten weeks into the inaugural season of The League!, we are just about to wrap up the regular season! And with the Chase for the E.L.S.I.E. being everybody’s primary focus, we are busy adding features & making changes to next season. One of the two big changes is coming from our 1st approved League Poll by the Owners. Next season we will be adding a monetary prize along with our coveted trophy The E.L.S.I.E. The amount of the prize is still to be determined, but there will now be even more at stake next season in The League!

The other major change will be the playoff format. Next season’s Chase for the E.L.S.I.E. will feature only the top 8 teams from the regular season. The 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th ranked teams unfortunately won’t play for The E.L.S.I.E., but they will play for the 1st Overall Pick! Kinda like the NBA Lottery, the bottom four teams will battle for position in the following seasons draft. So therefore, the 12th ranked team will not automatically get the 1st overall pick. With that said…, Let’s Get To It!!!

This weeks fantasy champ is Joe Flacco, who tallied 341 Pass Yds & 3TD’s plus a Rush TD (29.74 fantasy pts) in assisting DemBoys (6-4) upset the former top ranked #1 I Got Sacks On Sacks On Sacks (7-3). DemBoys also got solid performances from Stevan Ridley (15.80), LB-Derrick Johnson (15.50) and DB-Bernard Pollard (13.00) as I Got Sacks On Sacks On Sack’s Jamaal Charles (16.00) did most or their heavy hitting while Dez Bryant (14.70) was left on the sidelines.

The #4 St. Pete ConVICKS (8-2) got a big win topping the always tough #2 Maclin on Your Girl (7-3). Despite the St. Pete ConVICKS leaving big performances from LB-NaVorro Bowman (12.50) and Danny Amendola (12.00) on the sidelines, Matthew Stafford (24.46), Steven Jackson (18.70), Sidney Rice (17.40) and C.J. Spiller (13.10) all had huge performances. Tom Brady (16.38) and K-Blair Walsh (14.00) lead in scoring for Maclin on Your Girl.

The Tampa Giants (2-8) got a big win this week easily defeating Peyton’s Girl (2-8). Andrew Luck (16.18), Devin McCourty (14.60) and K-Stephen Gostkowski (13.00) lead the Tampa Giants in scoring all while leaving Jeremy Maclin (15.30) and Kyle Rudolph (12.40) on the bench. Peyton’s Girl left a huge performance from Andy Dalton (24.76) on the bench as well.

#5 The Monstars (7-3) took care of #3 Pick 6’n (7-3) in what was sure to be a playoff preview. The Monstars got big performances from Jimmy Graham (26.60), Drew Brees (20.82), Frank Gore (19.50) and Demaryius Thomas (14.50) as Pick 6’n got solid performances from Matt Ryan (26.64), and Felix Jones (15.30) in a losing effort.

In the Nail Biter of the Week, The BUCKNASTYS BOYS (4-6) slipped by the jump start Clam Diggers (1-9). Marshawn Lynch (20.10), Chris Johnson (19.40), A.J. Green (15.50) and LB-Lavonte David (14.50) assisted the BUCKNASTYS BOYS in victory as Adrian Peterson (26.60), Tony Gonzalez (24.20), Josh Freeman (15.80) and Denarius Moore (15.00) did almost enough for the Clam Diggers to come from behind.

And lastly, Weapons of Mass Production (6-4) got back on the winning side of things as they defeated the NC Bad Boys (3-7). Fred Jackson (22.50) and Arian Foster (17.70) did the heavy lifting for Weapons of Mass Production as Jacoby Jones (27.10) couldn’t do it all by himself for the NC Bad Boys. Calvin Johnson (25.70) and Torrey Smith (18.70) sideline performances could have been the difference.
