**Top 3 Rounds Breakdown**
***ADP Info from the Fantasy Football Calculator***
1st Round
Big decisions will have to be made immediately as Derrick Henry-RB, Dalvin Cook-RB & Tyreek Hill-WR all have a 1st round asking price. With only one 1st round pick to go around, they will have to let two of the three players walk. Henry & Cook are both coming off the boards in the 1st round (Henry, 5th overall; Cook, 8th overall) while Hill is coming off the boards late in the 2nd round (24th overall).
2nd Round
No one on the roster currently have a 2nd round asking price, but don’t think they won’t have decisions to make here with players such as Joe Mixon-RB & DK Metcalf-WR both having 3rd round asking prices. I’d look at using this pick to keep Mixon and let Metcalf walk, you’ll see why I say this below…
3rd Round
As mentioned above, Joe Mixon-RB & DK Metcalf-WR both have 3rd round asking prices. Mixon is undoubtedly the player to keep here with a current ADP that has him coming off the board in the 1st round (10th overall). 1st round talent in the 3rd round, I’d take that any day. However I suggest using their 2nd round pick to keep Mixon and here’s why…
Other Notable Roster Moves
This is where the wheels will fall off for this team. Look at the names that all have a 4th round asking price…
- Tom Brady-QB
- Deebo Samuel-WR
- Ja’Marr Chase-WR
- Mike Evans-WR
- Terry McLaurin-WR
- Kevin Byard-DB
With only one 4th round pick to go around, they could only keep one of these players. Using their 2nd round pick to keep Mixon would free up their 3rd round pick to overpay and keep one of the players listed while also keeping their 4th rounder to keep a second player listed. Hopefully you follow…
In this scenario, I’d keep Mixon with a 2nd rounder, Samuel with a 3rd rounder and Chase with the 4th rounder. This way, which ever RB they keep with their 1st rounder (Henry or Cook), they could pair that RB with Mixon for a one-two punch while having a one-two punch at WR with Samuel & Chase.
Antonio Gibson-RB (for a 6th rounder) Possibly…
Dak Prescott-QB (for a 7th rounder) Possibly…
Jordan Hicks-LB (for a 9th rounder) Possibly…
Harrison Smith-DB (for a 10th rounder) Absolutely…
Justin Tucker-K (for a 11th rounder) Possibly…
Tee Higgins-WR (for a 12th rounder) Absolutely!
Chase Edmonds-RB (for a 15th rounder) Possibly…
