The Path to the Draft | Day 12 – The $50 Confidence Football Pool

New to The League! this season is the $50 Confidence Football Pool. This pool is no different than any other NFL confidence pool and will need to be submitted prior to the Thursday Night NFL game. The winner of this confidence pool will win their respective league entry fee back in my way of saying thank you for being an active league participant. If you are not familiar with confidence pools, they are similar to a regular pick ’em pool where you just pick the winner but with a confidence pool you have to declare a value of confidence to each game.

Each league member picks every NFL game for the week, placing a “weight” from 1 to the number of games that week based on how confident they are that the team they picked will win (e.g. for a 16 game week, the weight range is 1 through 16). The more points assigned to a pick, the more confident they are that team will win. For each correct pick, they receive the number of points they assigned to that pick. Games are picked “straight-up” a point spread is not utilized.

To make your Confidence Pool picks for the upcoming week, go to the For Owners menu at the very top of the MyFantasyLeague.com website (Image 8.1). Once there, go to NFL Pool Picks (Image 8.2), which will take you to the pick page shown in the image above (Image 8.3). Here, you will have to make your picks and add you confidence weight to each selection. Once done, just Save Picks at the bottom of the page so your selections will be registered.
