PathtotheDraft24

This will probably be the shortest Path to the Draft we feature all series, as today we tackle The Overtime Rule. Now this is a little embarrassing as we have not had a rule in place to decide a winner if for instance, we had a game that ended in a tie. With the fact that we have decimal point scoring system, fortunately this has never occurred. But last season was the first time of any of the previous four seasons in The League! – E.F.F.L that a game ending in a tie almost took place. As you can imagine, that left us scratching our heads as to why we have never set a rule in place for this.

The Overtime Rule has now been added to our league’s bylaws where if any game that ends in a tie, regular season or playoff game, that game will be decided by Total Bench Points Scored. Meaning, if two teams are tied after all their fantasy players games have been played, which ever team’s bench scored the most points will decide who wins the fantasy match up. It’s that simple. 🙂
