David Wilson of the New York Giants

As the final four teams position themselves for a chance to play for it all, there were some surprising outcomes in last week’s divisional round giving us our semi-final games this weekend. Outside from the Chase for The E.L.S.I.E., the remaining eight teams are now playing for draft positioning in next years fantasy draft. So regardless of where you are in these playoffs, there’s still plenty to play for. So Let’s Get To It!!!

David Wilson, David Wilson, David Wilson. Rather it’s been Ahmad Bradshaw, Andre Brown or the newest to tote the rock for the Giants in David Wilson, it seems you couldn’t go wrong with having a Giants RB tucked away on your roster somewhere.

Wilson, who put up monstrous numbers with 100 Rush Yds & 2 TD’s, plus another 227 Return Yds & 1 Return TD (51.70 fantasy pts) almost single handedly did enough for the Tampa Giants (4-10) to upset the heavily favored #2 I Got Sacks On Sacks On Sacks (9-4). Tampa Giants’ only other heavy hitter was DB-Stevie Brown (15.50), as they left another monster performance on the sidelines in Cam Newton (38.08). I Got Sacks On Sacks On Sacks Jamaal Charles (23.50), Colin Kaepernick (15.70) and DL-Cameron Wake (15.00) lead them in scoring.

The other huge upset in last week’s divisional round was the jump start Clam Diggers (3-11) upending#4 Maclin on Your Girl’s (8-5) championship run. The Clam Diggers, lead by Adrian Peterson (29.00), featured eight players that posted double digit performances all while leaving a solid performance on the sidelines in Knowshon Moreno (22.70). Maclin on Your Girl’s Tom Brady (28.44) and DeMarco Murray (13.50) were the only two players to show up as they exited the playoffs in one-and-done fashion.

In their third match up this season, The #3 St. Pete ConVICKS (10-3) took the season series (2 out of 3 games) and also sent DemBoys (9-5) on their way to moving on to the final four. The St. Pete ConVICKS got solid performances from Randall Cobb (19.10), Matthew Stafford (16.46), DB-Leodis McKelvin (13.60) and Steven Jackson (13.30) in getting the win. DemBoys were lead in scoring by Darrius Heyward-Bey (16.20) and Stevan Ridley (13.20). DemBoys’ Shonn Greene (13.70) and LB-Paris Lenon (12.00) could have been the difference.

And finally, the top seeded team in the playoffs took care of business as #1 The Monstars (10-3) knocked out the surprisingly tough BUCKNASTYS BOYS (5-9). The Monstars got solid performances from Doug Martin (21.20), Trent Richardson (17.10), Frank Gore (14.50) and Drew Brees (13.06) all while leaving Danario Alexander’s (20.80) performance on the bench. The BUCKNASTYS BOYS probably put together their best string of games during the playoffs when it counted, as Marshawn Lynch (30.80) produced their heavy hitting in a losing effort.
