The REDO of the Supplemental Draft for The League – Origins & C/O 2013

After the overwhelming response that I got after this season’s Supplemental Draft, we decided to take another look at it. Much of the response was not positive and in actuality, I liked the response we got. As I’ve said numerous times that this is not just my fantasy league, but yours as well. The fact that league members take this league serious is very rewarding to me, as it should be for my co-commissioners as well. So thank you for voicing your opinions. Regardless if they are positive or negative, we are hear to listen.

As we have tried to uniform any league decisions and set standards in place, we have set the standard for future Supplemental Drafts. From now on, Owner/Coaches involved in Supplemental Drafts will only be allowed to establish their teams keepers from the team they are taking over. Here are the two standards set in place…

1. If Owner/Coach decides to keep four players in the Supplemental Draft from the team he/she is taking over, he/she will be able to establish his/hers teams keepers using our standard (two offensive & two defensive players) or Franchise Tag formats.
2. If Owner/Coach decides to keep three or less players (no more than two players on one side of the ball) in the Supplemental Draft from the team he/she is taking over, he/she will be awarded a Top 4 Compensatory 1st Round Draft Pick to establish their fourth keeper only if that said team does not have a 1st Round pick in the top four.
