Reggie Bush of the Miami Dolphins

Remember Pee-Wee’s Playhouse from back in the day? Well if you do, remember “The Word of the Day”, when once established everybody screamed when somebody said it? Well “The Word of the Day”, is “WTF?” Although not all that politically correct, this is The League! where anything and everything goes. But in reality, I’m sure the phrase WTF? (***SCREAM***) was probably used atleast a dozen times this past weekend.

In the second week in The League’s inaugural season, every team that won last week lost (with the exception of Pick 6’n), and every team that lost…, well you get the picture.

Our lone woman owned team Peyton’s Girl (1-1), got their 1st win of the season against the NC Bad Boys (1-1) in impressive fashion. Featuring Week Two’s Fantasy Scoring Leader Reggie Bush, who compiled 172 Rush Yds & 2 Scores plus an additional 25 Rec Yds (32.70 pts), Peyton’s Girl’s offense was unstoppable. Along with Eli Manning’s (28.20), Willis McGahee’s (25.40) and Victor Cruz’s (24.90)… WTF? (***SCREAM***), the NC Bad Boys’ Darren Sproles (21.0) and Vincent Jackson (19.80) couldn’t fend off their 1st defeat.

But the blow out of the week came from the Tampa Giants (1-1) destroying the former #3 team in the league, the St. Pete ConVICKS (1-1). The Tampa Giants’ Hakeem Nicks (25.90), Cam Newton (24.22) and Vernon Davis (19.30) lit up the field. Even adding insult to injury with Kicker Stephen Gostkowski’s (16.00) performance. WTF? (***SCREAM***)

Maclin on Your Girl (1-1) got their 1st win of the season despite leaving strong performances from Ben Tate (21.70) and Carson Palmer (20.62) on the bench. But with another strong performance from Percy Harvin (19.50), in addition to Josh Cribbs (17.80) and Brent Celek (15.70), it was enough to ward off #5 I Got Sacks On Sacks On Sacks’ (1-1) Dwayne Bowe (22.20) and Michael Vick (20.24).

In the Nail Biter of the Week, #1 Pick 6’n (2-0) found a way to pull out a close one against Tampasaab (0-2). Top Ranked Pick 6’n, the only Top 5 team to remain in the Top 5… WTF? (***SCREAM***), had decent performances from last weeks fantasy champ Matt Ryan (17.66) and Ray Rice (15.20), as Tampasaab once again left a bunch of pts on the bench.

In the Game of the Week, The Monstars (1-1), with big performances from Trent Richardson (26.50) and Drew Brees (20.00), took care of #4 Weapons of Mass Production (1-1). Despite strong performances from Arian Foster (20.70), Roddy White (16.20) and Ben Roethlisberger (16.0).

And finally the BUCKNASTYS BOY (1-1) knocked off the former #2 team in The League!, DemBoys (1-1), in blow out fashion. WTF? (***SCREAM***) Philip Rivers (18.26) and Marshawn Lynch (18.20) both went off for the BUCKNASTYS BOYS, while DemBoys lone double digit performer came from the defensive side of the ball in LB Daryl Washington (14.0).

Top 5 Teams after Week 2:
1. Pick 6’n (2-0)
2. Maclin on Your Girl (1-1)
3. The Monstars (1-1)
4. Peyton’s Girl (1-1)
5. Tampa Giants (1-1)

This Week’s Match Ups:
St. Pete ConVICKS (1-1) vs. DemBoys (1-1)
#5 Tampa Giants (1-1) vs. #3 The Monstars (1-1)
I Got Sacks On Sacks On Sacks (1-1) vs. Tampasaab (0-2)
#2 Maclin on Your Girl (1-1) vs. #4 Peyton’s Girl (1-1)
NC Bad Boys (1-1) vs. #1 Pick 6’n (2-0)
BUCKNASTYS BOYS (1-1) vs. Weapons of Mass Production (1-1)

Game to Watch:
#2 Maclin on Your Girl (1-1) vs. #4 Peyton’s Girl (1-1)
With two Top 5 match ups this week, it was tough picking the Game to Watch. But this match up looks more appealing in my opinion. Will Tom Brady out perform Eli Manning?
