**The E.L.S.I.E. Bowl**

The E.L.S.I.E. Bowl is upon us once again and I want to say congratulations to both Make Origins Great Again (the Origins Conference Champions) & Mr. Rodgers Neighborhood (the Legends Conference Champions)! Keeping with tradition, each year I ask everyone if they know what E.L.S.I.E. actually stands for?

TRIVIA QUESTION: Do you know what the word E.L.S.I.E. stands for?

  • ELeven
  • Solid
  • Inches of
  • Envy

The E.L.S.I.E. Award originally stood eleven inches high (See here). The E.L.S.I.E. Award is now sixteen inches high with the new additional base we added in 2015 (See here). Even though the trophy is taller now in height, we continue to pay ode to the original E.LS.I.EAward by keeping her name the same.

**The History**

The championship game for The League – E.F.F.L. is called The E.L.S.I.E. Bowl. This season will be our 10th installment of the E.L.S.I.E. Bowl since this league has started. Since some of our league members were not around from the beginning, I will give a brief history of the previous E.L.S.I.E. Bowl winners and the 3rd Place finishers.

NOTE: The League history is from the original league (Origins), this will not show E.L.S.I.E. Bowl history from the once, two 12-team add-on leagues (C/O 2013 & 2014 Finest) which were merged into The League! that produce our current league layout.
