Brian Hartline of the Miami Dolphins

As another exciting week of the inaugural season of The League! whines down, are we witnessing the contenders separating themselves from the pretenders? With 1/3 of the regular season in the bag, some teams are starting to take shape as others are just starting or trying to find their way. And with a new special league story coming this Saturday with in depth Keeper’s Deadline rules (Keeper’s Deadline is Oct. 15th), new League Poll, and introducing The League’s! Championship Trophy, we got a bunch of stuff this week to sift through. So let’s get to it!

This week’s Fantasy Champ was free agent WR-Brian Hartline, who had 253 Rec Yds & 1 TD (34.30 pts). Who the hell saw that coming??? And coming off of a performance like that, it took him no time to find a new fantasy home.

The blow out of the week featured #3 Maclin on Your Girl (3-1), lead by Tom Brady (31.00), getting their second win in a row against this weeks victim, the winless Tampasaab (0-4). With another strong performance from Percy Harvin (19.90), #3 Maclin on Your Girl posted a total of ten players with double digit performances. All while leaving Devin Hester (15.6) performance on the sideline. Damn!! Tampasaab became the only team to win the uncoveted Hunger Award twice now for leaving the most points on the bench.

In the Game to Watch, The St. Pete ConVICKS (3-1) came from behind to upset #2 The Monstars (2-2). The St. Pete ConVICKS DB-Patrick Peterson (15.80), Randall Cobb (15.40), Matthew Stafford (15.16) and Miles Austin (13.70) outgunned The Monstars Drew Brees (29.84), Trent Richardson (16.40) and Frank Gore (15.50) to give us probably the best Game to Watch of the season.

The BUCKNASTYS BOYS (2-2) added another W to their win column defeating the Tampa Giants (1-3). Marshawn Lynch (21.50) and A.J. Green (17.70) did most of the ground work for the BUCKNASTYS BOYS, as the Tampa Giants’ Michael Turner (24.10) and Jordy Nelson (16.30) couldn’t keep pace. Strong performances from Cam Newton (28.20) and David Wilson (21.70) were left to watch from the Tampa Giants sidelines.

#1 Pick 6’n (4-0) remained unbeaten as they knocked off Peyton’s Girl (1-3). Pick 6’n Brandon Marshall (19.80), Matt Ryan (18.76) and Scott Chandler (18.20) all turned out strong performances as Peyton’s Girl didn’t get their roster set before the Roster Lock deadline.

#4 Weapons of Mass Production (3-1) turned out another championship performance in knocking off DemBoys (1-3). Despite strong performances from DemBoys’ Aaron Rodgers (28.06), Stevan Ridley (23.60) and DeSean Jackson (15.90), #4 Weapons of Mass Production produced a complete team victory! With offensive stars Roddy White (28.90), Matt Schaub (15.88) and Arian Foster (15.40); defensive stars Lance Briggs (18.0) and J.J. Watt (11.50); and special teamer K-Alex Henery (14.00). DemBoys have now lost three straight.

#5 I Got Sacks On Sacks On Sacks (3-1) took out the NC Bad Boys (1-3) in a close, hard fought match up. With strong performances from NC Bad Boys’ Darren Sproles (21.90), RG3 (21.22), Jason Witten and Vincent Jackson (17.20 pts a piece), #5 I Got Sacks On Sacks On Sacks were just too much. They also posted ten players with double digit performances all while leaving Marques Colston (21.30) off to the side to watch.

1. Pick 6’n (4-0)
2. Maclin on Your Girl (3-1)
