Jamaal Charles of the Kansas City Chiefs

As another challenging, but exciting week ends in the inaugural season of The League!, all team owners will have to strategize against a new added wrinkle…, Bye Weeks! Although this week poses no serious threats to worry about (Indianapolis and Pittsburgh are the only bye week teams this week), they will still provide challenges to those team owners who are stacked heavy with players from those squads. So let’s get to it.

Week 3’s Fantasy Champ Jamaal Charles, who ran for 233 Rush Yds & 1 TD, plus 55 Rec Yds (36.80 pts), gave I Got Sacks On Sacks On Sacks (2-1) a big victory against the winless Tampasaab (0-3). Charles was the primary weapon for I Got Sacks On Sacks On Sacks as Tampasaab’s Tony Gonzalez provided their only offense (16.10). Once again Tampasaab left big numbers on the bench in Ryan Fitzpatrick (18.32), Alfred Morris (14.8) and newly acquired Wes Welker (14.2).

The St. Pete ConVICKS (2-1), lead by Matthew Stafford (17.32), got a big win over DemBoys (1-2) to put themselves in place to re-enter the Top 5. DemBoys, who had only four players to put up double digit performances, left a big performance from Joe Flacco (25.58) on the sideline. And in despite of the St. Pete ConVICKS, who also left a big performance on the bench in Nate Washington (18.20), posted four double digit performances from the defensive side of the ball alone.

In the Liotta Bowl, #3 The Monstars (2-1) (owned by Michael Liotta) got the best of the #5 Tampa Giants (1-2) (owned by Brian Liotta) in a close and competitive match up! The Monstars, lead heavily by Antonio Brown (17.90), PK-Jason Hanson (17.0) and Drew Brees (16.50), held off strong performances from the Tampa Giants Santonio Holmes (14.70), Michael Turner (14.10) and LB-Curtis Lofton (14.0). Andrew Luck’s (24.52) unfortunate sideline performance could have been the difference.

The Game to Watch this week unfortunately turned out to not be worth watching at all as the #2 Maclin on Your Girl (2-1) beat the former #4 Peyton’s Girl (1-2) impressively! Maclin on Your Girl’s Percy Harvin (19.20) once again turned in a huge game as well as strong performances from Tom Brady (18.10), Josh Cribbs (17.20) and an unexpected performance from DL-Chris Clemons (14.0). Peyton’s Girl became the Week 3 Hunger Award winner for leaving the most points on the bench.

In the Nail Biter of the Week, #1 Pick 6’n (3-0) once again found a way to pull out a close win, this time against the NC Bad Boys (1-2). Pick 6’n Big Four, Maurice Jones-Drew (28.30), Ray Rice (22.0), Matt Ryan (19.40) and Andre Johnson (14.20) were once again too much for the opposition. Although the NC Bad Boys’ Calvin Johnson (22.40), RG3 (21.34) and Darren McFadden (19.50) turned out strong performances, Torrey Smith’s heartfelt performance (24.70) and Darren Sproles (17.10) were left on the sideline only to watch.

And in the blowout of the week, Weapons of Mass Production (2-1) responded from their Week 2 defeat in impressive fashion, blowing out the BUCKNASTYS BOYS (1-2). Although the BUCKNASTYS BOYS had strong performances from A.J. Green (26.40) and Larry Fitzgerald (17.40), Weapons of Mass Production’s Ben Roethlisberger (31.16), Andre Brown (25.00), Mike Wallace (20.40) and Arian Foster (16.80) were just too much! Even adding insult to injury with LB-Chad Greenway (17.50).
