The Path to the Draft | Day 18 – Bounties & Fines System

This will be another short Path to the Draft post but coming back this upcoming season is the Bounties & Fines System. Bounties & Fines is a way for you to earn monetary prizes for goals accomplished for each week during the season. Positive goals accomplished are referred to as Bounties and negative goals are referred to a Fines! Each Bounty is worth $5.00 which will be added to your league balance to be paid out at the End of the Year. Fines will be a $5.00 deduction from that same league balance.

One change to the  this season is that your balance CAN hold a negative balance. This negative balance will ONLY be accessed during the End of the Year payout IF you have money coming to you. You will not have to physical pay on a negative balance as any money won will pay your Fines automatically. So let’s say you win the $50.00 E.L.S.I.E. Survivor Pool but you have a -$15.00 balance in your Bounties & Fines account. You would receive $35.00 for winning the pool.

NOTE: Your Bounties & Fines balance WILL reset yearly, so you will start off with a $0.00 balance at the start of every new season. 

Because we did not have our End of the Year Awards like in past season, Bounties & Fines payouts were not paid at the end of last season. Therefore, if you have a positive balance from last season it will be applied to your league fees for this season. • “Snickers Award”, The Most Satisfying Player of the Week (Fantasy Gem) – (+$5.00)
• “Buddy Ryan” – The highest defensive scoring player of the week. – (+$5.00)
• “Gold Standard Award” – Team with the highest score in a single week. – (+$5.00)
• “Monster Award” – Best efficiency fantasy point total in a single week. – (+$5.00)

*2015 Weekly Fines*

• “Hindsight Award”, aka Poor Coaching Decisions – The losing team with the most points left on the bench. – (-$5.00)
• “Dunce Award” – Biggest roster mistake of the week. – (-$5.00)
• “Bridesmaid Award” – Closest loss of the week. – (-$5.00)
• “Doormat Award” – Worse efficiency fantasy point total in a single week. – (-$5.00)
